Drawn Before? Use the Number Checker by Sums or the Search By First Number.

Position Frequencies. Since year 2005, the beginning of the current game of 5/56 + 1/46 numbers, the Mega Millions' winning numbers have shown certain preferences for each position. When choosing your numbers, try keeping your numbers within these Ranges.

80% POSITION. 80 percent of all winning numbers drawn, fall within the position pattern ranges in the following table. The results of recent winning numbers are included in the table. The Mega Ball numbers 13, 16, 18, 19, 24, 25, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 43 and 46 were left out of the 80% position as they were the least drawn.

85% POSITION. 85 percent of all winning numbers drawn, fall within the 85% position pattern ranges. The Mega Ball numbers 13, 18, 19, 24, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 43 and 46 were left out of the 85% position as they were the least drawn.

Odd and Even Numbers. Check your count of odd and even numbers. Compare yours to the Tables below WITHOUT the MEGA BALL and WITH the MEGA BALL. The Percent column gives an indication of your chances of winning based on historical draws.

Add Your Numbers Up Without The Mega Ball And With The Mega Ball - That's Your SUM. Compare your SUM with the following tables. See what range your SUM falls into and then check the Percent column for the historical percentage chances of winning.

Number Cohorts. How do your numbers fit the following NUMBER COHORT SUMMARY Table? The Number Cohorts are similar to the Position Frequency Tables in that they show you what Range of Numbers are best for each of your number positions. If your numbers are outside the historical ranges, your chances of winning are lower.

Position Frequency By First Number. Check your First Number with the frequencies of all the other numbers that you have chosen for Positions 2 to 5. If your Position 2 to 5 numbers have a very low frequency, you might want to change them to numbers with higher frequencies.
You can choose your Mega Ball number based on the most frequent Mega Ball with your First Number OR you can pick the most frequent Mega Ball of All your numbers.

Low - High Frequency. This Strategy examines the total number of times each winning combination had Low Numbers (1 to 28) versus High Numbers (29 to 56). Check your number combination to see how many of your numbers are Low and how many are High. Try to keep your chosen numbers within the highest historical Percentage Wins to improve your chances of winning.
